Day 12 (Tuesday, August 21) – Mastic Beach to Hampton Bays
On the 12th day of the Tour, there were twelve drummers drumming for a Clean Ocean – starting with the great folks at Jimmy’s Diner (in Mastic) and the Moriches Bay Marina! Cyclists rode from the marina, through Westhampton’s Dune Road, to Hampton Bays (65 miles!) and paddlers covered almost 30 miles finally rounding the Shinnecock inlet and heading to the canal!
