Day 5 (Tuesday, August 14) – Point Pleasant Beach to Sandy Hook

8:30 am –Yoga on the Beach: Point Pleasant Beach, outside Jenkinson’s! Yogis can park in the gravel lot on Ocean Avenue (corner of Ocean and Parkway).

10 am –Morning Launch Site: Point Pleasant Beach, Fishermen’s Dock Co-op, Channel Dr.

Beach Teams:  Manasquan, Spring Lake  and Belmar

12:30-1:30 pm – Rally & Beach Press Event:  Belmar, Taylor Pavilion (Here)

Beach Teams in Asbury Park, Long Branch, Sea Bright,  Sandy Hook

1-3 pm – Potluck and drumming event at WATERSPIRIT, Stella Maris Center, 981 Ocean Ave, Elberon, NJ.

3 pm – Cyclists meet up at The Peddler, 150 Ocean Ave, Long Branch to head north to Sandy Hook

4 pm – Cyclists meet up at Donovan’s Reef,  1171 Ocean Ave, Sea Bright to head to Sandy Hook

3-7 pm –Evening Oceanfest and Press Event (5 pm): The Seagull’s Nest, Sandy Hook (Here)  Rally for the Ocean, including eco-friendly goods and artwork, local honey, treats for pets and more!  Crafts and artists will be available at 3pm.
